The KD‑X152M is a slim-depth (“short chassis”) digital media receiver designed for users who want USB/AUX playback plus radio, without the bulk or failure points of a CD drive. It offers seamless FLAC playback, flexible EQ tuning, and modern features like smartphone audio mode and steering wheel control compatibility.

 

Features:

  • Media Receiver (no CD mechanism) = Supports playback via front USB and AUX, but does not play CDs directly

  • Built-in MOS‑FET amplifier delivers 4× 22 W (full bandwidth) and up to 50 W × 4 (max)

  • Supported Formats being MP3, WMA, WAV, and FLAC (up to 48 kHz/16‑bit) with tag display capabilities

  • 3‑Band parametric EQ with 15 presets including drvn‑EQ, plus Loudness and High‑/Low‑pass filters

  • Detachable VA LCD panel, white-backlit display & red key illumination, auto-dimmer, OSD languages: ENG, ESP, RUS

  • Digital Track Expander, wired steering-wheel remote-ready, Android audio support (via JVC Music Play app), clock display and RDS radio support

Preset EQ patterns are selectable from 15 types including ”drvn EQ” that is designed to maximize the performance of JVC drvn Series amplifiers and speakers, as well as producing dynamic sound for any speaker.

 

Media Playback = FLAC Compatible with Tag

Compatible with FLAC format which allows digital audio to be losslessly compressed, so that file size is reduced without any information being sacrificed. Also compatible with playback of 16bit / 48kHz FLAC format.

 

General = Short Chassis

The reduced depth of the chassis contributes to a weight reduction and facilitates easier installation.
