The BlackSpider BS-SDMSIL-2 | Sound Deadening Material
The BlackSpider BS-SDMSIL-2 Sound Deadening Material features 2.4mm thick aluminium and black butyl-based construction for reducing vibrations, panel rattles, and unwanted vehicle noise. Each box contains 10 sheets measuring 750 × 500mm, providing approximately 3.75m² of coverage. Designed for vibration damping, noise control, heat reduction, and improved vehicle acoustics.
FEATURES:
2.4mm Multi-Layer Construction: Combines an aluminium constraining layer with a black butyl-based core to help reduce panel vibrations and unwanted resonance.
Vibration & Noise Control: Helps minimise structural vibrations, rattles, and unwanted noise transmitted through vehicle metal panels.
Acoustic Enhancement: Reduces panel resonance to help improve the listening environment for aftermarket speakers and car audio systems.
Heat Reduction: Multi-layer construction is designed to help reduce heat transfer through treated vehicle panels.
Asphalt-Free & Low-Odour Material: Butyl-based composition is designed to provide durable performance without the strong odours associated with some asphalt-based materials.
Flexible Cut-to-Fit Installation: Each 750 × 500mm sheet can be trimmed and applied to suitable vehicle panels for customised sound treatment.
⚠️ IMPORTANT
- Surface Preparation: Clean and degrease all application surfaces thoroughly before installation to ensure proper adhesion.
- Installation: Measure and cut sheets to fit, remove the backing, and firmly press into place using a roller to eliminate trapped air.
- Application Safety: Avoid covering drainage holes, wiring, moving components, or areas exposed to excessive heat. Reassemble vehicle panels securely after installation.
- Professional installation is recommended.
