Competition Series

The BlackSpider BSW-NX12D2 12″ Competition Subwoofer is designed for extreme bass applications requiring substantial power handling, a rigid structure and a heavy-duty motor assembly.

Its construction combines a heavy-duty die-cast basket with a Kevlar-enhanced paper cone, providing a strong foundation for high-output operation. A multi-spider suspension system assists with controlling the moving assembly during demanding high-excursion use. At the centre of the BSW-NX12D2 is a large 4-inch, 4-layer aluminium wire voice coil, paired with an 8-piece N52 neodymium magnet motor system. This heavy-duty combination is designed for the thermal and mechanical demands associated with competition-level car audio systems.

The Dual 2-Ohm impedance configuration also provides flexible amplifier matching, allowing the voice coils to be wired for either a 1-Ohm or 4-Ohm final load.
